Run duration depends on the type of flow cell and number of cycles. For more information and sample run times, see MiniSeq System specifications.
Yes, the MiniSeq System includes Local Run Manager (LRM) onboard. LRM allows users to create sequencing runs, monitor status, view results, and analyze data automatically upon completion of a sequencing run. Additional analysis options are available through a wide range of open-source or commercial pipelines developed for Illumina data. Data can also be instantly transferred, analyzed, archived, and shared securely with BaseSpace Sequence Hub.
The MiniSeq System delivers focused power in a small footprint that is accessible to smaller labs. It provides cost-effective sequencing even for a low number of samples. View a side-by-side comparison of Illumina sequencing systems to learn how MiniSeq System features compare with the iSeq 100 System, MiSeq Series, NextSeq 550 Series, and NextSeq 1000 and NextSeq 2000 Systems.
The MiniSeq System enables small genome, amplicon, targeted enrichment, and RNA sequencing of low library volumes with associated analysis options using BaseSpace apps or Local Run Manager analysis modules. For more information, see the MiniSeq System applications page.
For a list of specific library prep kits associated with Local Run Manager analysis modules, see compatible libraries.
