MiniSeq instrument specifications
Sequencing by synthesis chemistry
The MiniSeq System harnesses proven Illumina sequencing by synthesis (SBS) chemistry to deliver highly accurate data and robust performance for a broad range of applications. SBS chemistry uses reversible-terminator fluorescently labeled nucleotides to detect single bases as they are incorporated into growing DNA strands, reading billions of sequences in parallel.
2-channel sequencing by synthesis
The MiniSeq System leverages 2-channel sequencing by synthesis (SBS) for faster data generation than the original Illumina 4-channel SBS technology, with the same high data accuracy.
