Use AmpliSeq for Illumina Custom RNA Panels to measure gene expression in 12 to 1200 gene targets in a single assay. You can easily design custom targeted panels from a menu of over 20,000 human RefSeq genes using DesignStudio Software, a web-based assay design software tool.
An AmpliSeq for Illumina Custom RNA Panel is part of an integrated workflow that includes AmpliSeq for Illumina polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based library preparation, Illumina sequencing by synthesis (SBS) chemistry and next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology, and automated analysis.

The AmpliSeq for Illumina library preparation workflow requires a panel, library prep reagents (Library Plus), and indexes. Accessory products are also available for cDNA synthesis and sample identification.
AmpliSeq cDNA Synthesis for Illumina is required to convert total RNA to cDNA when working with AmpliSeq for Illumina RNA Panels.
AmpliSeq Library Equalizer for Illumina is an optional but recommended easy-to-use solution for normalizing libraries while using AmpliSeq for Illumina library prep methods.
AmpliSeq ERCC RNA Spike-In Mix for Illumina is a set of external RNA controls developed by the External RNA Controls Consortium (ERCC). The controls consist of a set of unlabeled, polyadenylated transcripts that can be used with AmpliSeq for Illumina assays with transcriptome panels to quantitate differential gene expression. Requires AmpliSeq ERCC RNA Companion Panel for Illumina (sold separately by Illumina).
AmpliSeq ERCC RNA Companion Panel for Illumina is intended for use with the AmpliSeq ERCC RNA Spike-In Mix for Illumina (sold separately by Illumina) to quantitate differential gene expression when performing AmpliSeq for Illumina assays with transcriptome panels.

High Concordance between Replicates
Libraries were prepared from 10 ng of Universal Human RNA using an AmpliSeq for Illumina Custom RNA Panel (208 amplicon panel size) and sequenced on the MiSeq System. Results show a high concordance (R2 = 0.997) between the two replicates of the same RNA sample. R2 is a statistical measurement of data correlation.
High Read Alignment
The AmpliSeq for Illumina Custom RNA Panel enables researches to analyze differential gene expression across genes of interest. To demonstrate assay performance, Human Brain Reference RNA and Universal Human RNA were analyzed using 5 AmpliSeq for Illumina Custom RNA panels of varying size (number of amplicons). Libraries were sequenced on a MiSeq System.
