10x Genomics and Illumina jointly bring you a webinar by Dr. Jasmine Plummer from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Her webinar will focus on the combination of 10x technologies, single cell RNAseq and Visium with Illumina sequencing to reveal spatial resolution of the developing human fetal cortex.
Dr. Plummer completed her PhD at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Dr. Culotti, in neurogenetics. As an Autism Speaks postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Levitt’s laboratory at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, she used systems biology approaches to understanding genetic risk of neurodevelopmental disorders including schizophrenia, ADHD, bipolar disorder and major depressive disorder. As Research Scientist at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Plummer’s lab is focused on the use of genomic, epigenomic and transcriptomic approaches, including 10x Visium, to interrogating disease risk. As an Associate Director of the AGCT core, Jasmine also currently oversees laboratory services and the implementation of new genomic technologies.
