Single-cell sequencing is a next-generation sequencing (NGS) method that examines the genomes or transcriptomes of individual cells, providing a high-resolution view of cell-to-cell variation.
Dr. Michael Kelly utilizes single-cell PCR and single-cell RNA-seq to study the development of the mammalian auditory organs. He helps lead a new core facility at NCI Center for Cancer Research to support emerging single-cell sequencing. Tune in to listen to Dr. Kelly discuss some of the many projects that he supports utilizing single-cell and spatial technologies across both basic science and more translational research questions.
