Manage samples for NextSeq or MiniSeq runs
Sample and run management on the NextSeq 500/550 and MiniSeq sequencing systems is easy using the Prep feature in BaseSpace Sequence Hub. The Prep feature, accessed via a tab in the BaseSpace Sequence Hub interface, allows you to plan your entire sequencing workflow in an intuitive, graphical environment.
BaseSpace Sequence Hub is integrated into the MiniSeq, MiSeq Series, NextSeq 500/550, HiSeq 2500, HiSeq 3000/HiSeq 4000, NovaSeq Series, and the HiSeq X Series sequencing sytems.* This genomics computing solution is available in both cloud and onsite environments. It provides an easy, cost-effective way to prepare runs, track samples, and store, analyze, and share genomic data.
The Prep feature in BaseSpace Sequence Hub supports all standard Illumina kits and assays. Data validation is performed at each step of the workflow. This feature scans reagent barcodes for planned runs to verify run integrity. With the Prep tab, you can have confidence that your kit configuration, sample type, indexing scheme, and run parameters will lead to a successful NextSeq or MiniSeq run.
The BaseSpace Sequence Hub Prep tab lets you control the entire prepared sample workflow through a single, consolidated environment. Run details are automatically transferred to your NextSeq or MiniSeq instrument to initiate the actual sequencing run. This seamless integration leads to efficiencies that translate to important time savings.
The Prep tab in BaseSpace Sequence Hub lets you import pre-existing sample sheets or sample details in bulk from previous sequencing experiments with a single click.
*Currently, Prep functionality in BaseSpace Sequence Hub is only available for the NextSeq 500/550 and MiniSeq Systems. HiSeq, MiSeq, and NovaSeq System owners should create sample sheets using Illumina Experiment Manager. BaseSpace Onsite Sequence Hub does not support the HiSeq X or NovaSeq Systems.
