DEDICATION PLAQUE: I am honored to share my artwork with Illumina, a company that holds a special meaning to me because my father, Larry Bock, was a founder. Creativity and innovation go hand-in-hand and this painting is a testament to Illumina's commitment to the awe and beauty of science, from the vastness of the ocean, to the power of the human genome.

Dedicated in celebration of Illumina’s 20th Anniversary – April 2018

San Diego artist, Tasha Bock, is the daughter of Larry Bock, one of Illumina’s five co-founders. In honor of Illumina’s 20th Anniversary and her father’s legacy, Tasha completed several paintings that are now on exhibit at Illumina’s global headquarters.

“We are grateful for this gift and to have the opportunity to work with Tasha to share her talent with our employees and visitors to Illumina,” said Norm Fjeldheim, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. “Her artistic philosophy beautifully illustrates Illumina’s dedication to innovation and this gracious gift is an example of the everlasting impact Illumina has on our employees and their families.”

Illumina exemplifies a collaborative environment that fosters deep relationships with our communities, and Bock’s artwork invigorates our environment with her scenic paintings. You can view the selected pieces on display at the i3 Campus, and learn more about her artwork, here
